Performance Review Season
As we head into the next quarter, it’s performance review season! This is our time to pause, look back on everything accomplished over the past year, and have real conversations about what’s going well and where we can keep growing. It’s not just about metrics, it’s about recognizing wins (big and small), sharing feedback, and setting the tone for what’s next.
This year’s review cycle will take place as follows:
Group 1: April 20 – May 20
Group 2: May 21 – June 19
Group 3: Starting June 22
HR will be following up with additional details, including role groupings to help you identify which review cycle applies to you.
At its best, the performance review process is a two-way conversation. It’s a chance to celebrate progress, talk about goals, and make sure everyone feels supported and set up for success. These conversations help keep us aligned, strengthen our teams, and create opportunities for growth, both individually and as a company.
Vacation Planning Reminder
With summer just around the corner, now is a great time to start planning your vacation time. Taking time off isn’t just important, it’s necessary to recharge, reset, and come back feeling your best. We encourage everyone to review their vacation balances and submit requests early to help ensure smooth scheduling and proper coverage across all teams.
A little planning goes a long way in making sure you can fully disconnect and enjoy your time away. If you have any questions about your balance or the process, feel free to reach out to HR – we’re happy to help.
Licensing Renewals Reminder
A friendly reminder to our Duka Ontario team members holding professional CMRAO licenses: renewal season is approaching, with the deadline falling on Tuesday, June 30.
Please ensure your license and all continuing education requirements are completed and up to date. Staying current is essential not only for compliance, but also for maintaining the high standard of service we provide to our clients.
We encourage you to plan ahead and complete your continuing education requirements in advance of the deadline. HR will be sharing separate communications, outlining license reimbursement procedures and key timelines in accordance with company policy.
