Duka News and Updates Q3 2025

We hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful summer and finding some relief from the extremely hot days. Duka is thrilled to launch our new newsletter, with a special shout-out to our communications committee led by Shane for their efforts in getting this off the ground.

We are pleased to report that Duka is continuing to grow both in Toronto and in British Columbia.  We are expanding into new areas of the city and have the honour of working with some exquisite sites.

Since January, Duka has renewed eight contracts with our existing clients, been awarded thirteen new contracts from buildings across the GTA and Southwestern Ontario, and opened six brand new communities.

Each of these communities has its own story, and we’d love to share them with you, explore our newest buildings and see what makes them stand out.

Yorkville

No. 1 Yorkville, was built in 2021 by Plaza and BAZIS.   555 condominiums, 56 stories, with suites ranging in size from 451 to 1584 square feet.   This exclusive building is in the heart of Yorkville.

Downtown

Soho – Shared Facilities part of The Soho Metropolitan Community, has a boutique hotel style service and care, with extensive amenities shared with the Hotel, including indoor swimming pool and saunas at the fitness centre and health club, room service dining, and weekly house-keeping, as well as 24-hour security, dry-cleaning services, and newspaper delivery.

Yonge + Rich development by Great Gulf is a blend of history, modern design, and prime location, with the retail space at Yonge + Richmond in the heart of downtown Toronto’s Financial District.

Midtown

900 St Claire Ave West – registered in 2024, 116-unit boutique condominiums, ranging in size from 600-1,600 sq ft

House of Assembly  – Built by Marlin Spring and the first of three condominium buildings in a master-planned community.  Just a stone’s throw from The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).  256 beautifully designed units ranging in size 502 to 1222 square feet.

Etobicoke

Millgate Manor Community, three exclusive condominium buildings, and a shared facility. With extensive indoor and outdoor shared facilities built in the seventies known as a hidden gem.    Over 645 suites in total, with suites ranging from 1,240 to 1342 square feet.

Royal York Grand Condominiums, registered in 2009, 216 units with suites ranging in size from 900 to 1545 square feet, ranked the 84 most expensive condo building in Etobicoke.

Curio Condominiums – brand new development built by Marlin Spring, 10 Story condominium with suites ranging from 440 -1054 square feet.  Close to downtown, while in a beautiful community with great shopping and restaurants.

Richmond Hill

Ivy Lea Towns I, II and III – exquisite towns built by Marlin Spring, 273 units in total three three-story homes with extensive square footage ranging from 1648 – 3017.

Mississauga

SQ1 – Brand new development by the Daniels Group, 539 new condominium units located in the heart of Square One.  Suites ranging from 520-872 square feet.

Burlington

Alton Village was developed by Mattamy Homes in 2010, with 224 condominium units in a unique four-story community.  Suites range in size from 594 to 1311 square feet.
